This is the third day in my countdown to my best images of 2012… Today's post is of the Spouting Rock waterfall above Hanging Lake in Glenwood Canyon near Glenwood Springs, CO. Dead Horse Creek flows over the falls and will flow into Hanging Lake. From there, it will travel ~1000 vertical feet and meet up with the Colorado River below. Spouting Rock is the lesser of the two sights to see when you hike to Hanging Lake. That said, I still think it is an amazing place to sit and ponder life.
